The Gateway 400VTX takes the PC2100 DDR SDRAM SODIMMs Memory RAM Type, and comes installed with 128 MB (removable) of RAM. You can upgrade your Gateway 400VTX to up to a maximum of 1.0 GB RAM, the system has 2 sockets to install RAM, already with 128 MB (removable) standard RAM installed. For best system performance use the maximum amount of allowed RAM per slot for your system.
